Chris Cakes Culture, Standards & Basics

Franchisees are introduced to the Chris Cakes brand, business philosophy, and support structure.The day covers key responsibilities, employee management, operational standards, safety protocols, and hands-on training in preparing and flipping pancakes.

Event Booking, Execution & Service Standards

Franchisees learn how to manage events from booking to breakdown, including using key tools like Jobber, handling fundraiser discounts, coordinating staffing, and setting up the serving line. The day ends with more hands-on pancake training and tips from experienced team members.

Hands-On Menu Training

Franchisees focus on mastering the full pancake menu through live cooking practice, gaining confidence and speed in food preparation and service techniques.

Facility Tour & Grilling Operations

Franchisees tour an operating Chris Cakes facility, meet experienced staff, and learn vehicle loading, event setup, and grilling procedures for the full menu.

Business Operations & Marketing Essentials

This day covers the business side of the franchise, including financial tracking, QuickBooks basics, marketing requirements, and key reporting procedures, with time for open Q&A.

Live Event Experience

Franchisees participate in six real events on different days, applying their training in a live setting to gain confidence, speed, and a deeper understanding of event flow and customer interaction.
